Media & Communications | Micro-Internship & Summer Learning Journey
About the Role
This opportunity is part of the FABA Summer Learning Journey — a hands-on experience in media, storytelling, and digital content production.
Students will have the opportunity to learn how real content platforms are built, while helping bring to life the stories behind FindABlackAgent.com (FABA) — a national platform connecting homebuyers, sellers, and investors with top-performing Black real estate professionals across the United States.
Across the country, thousands of professionals, homeowners, and investors have unique stories about homeownership, entrepreneurship, community development, and wealth-building through real estate. This program focuses on capturing those stories and sharing them through written, audio, and video content.
Throughout the summer, participants will gain exposure to journalism-style interviews, content production, editing, and media distribution, while contributing to FABA’s growing Kitchen Table media series and national storytelling platform.
This is a learning-first experience designed to provide broad access to students interested in media and storytelling.
Select participants will be invited into a paid micro-internship based on engagement, performance, and demonstrated initiative during the program.
As part of the Summer Learning Journey, participants will also engage in weekly webinars and conversations with professionals in media, real estate, entrepreneurship, and marketing — gaining insight into career paths while learning how content platforms grow and scale.
The goal is simple: learn storytelling by creating real content that reaches real audiences.
