About The Role:
We’re looking for a resourceful, detail-oriented, and mission-driven fundraising professional who can identify, apply for, and manage grants while building relationships with foundations, government agencies, corporate sponsors, and community organizations.
You’ll create and implement a grants strategy, manage applications from start to finish, and build a fundraising pipeline that supports our growth, technology development, and national programming.
What You’ll Do:
- Research and identify grant opportunities from federal, state, local, and private funders.
- Write grant proposals, applications, budgets, and supporting documents aligned to FABA’s mission.
- Manage a grants calendar to ensure timely submissions and reporting.
- Build and nurture relationships with foundations, philanthropic leaders, corporations, and community donors.
- Develop sponsorship decks, fundraising pitches, and donor communications.
- Track awarded grants, deliverables, and reporting requirements to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify funding priorities and measurable outcomes.
- Support special fundraising campaigns tied to events, technology expansion, or community programs.
Who You Are:
- Experienced in grant writing, fundraising, nonprofit development, or philanthropic partnerships.
- Strong writer with the ability to communicate mission, metrics, and impact clearly.
- Highly organized — able to manage multiple deadlines, proposals, and reporting cycles.
- Proactive, strategic thinker who can turn funding opportunities into secured revenue.
- Mission-driven and passionate about equity, community impact, and empowering Black real estate professionals.

Compensation:
As an early-stage startup, we offer flexible and creative compensation structures.
While traditional salaries aren’t yet fixed, we’re open to designing packages that fit each candidate’s situation and contribution.
